6. Theoretical
Framework
The research made use of Tripartite Theory of subjective Well Being by
Edward F. Diener. He is an American psychologist, professor and
Author.
He explains how people experience the quality of their lives and
include both emotional reactions and Cognitive Judgements through
physical activity or sports.
He explains the moods, emotions and satisfactions with health and
happiness.
It is strongly related to Personality Traits in social, psychological and
biological contexts.
This theory states that Physical activity or sports and subjective well-
being mutually influence each other as, good amount of physical
activity associated with greater happiness and good health .

Design
Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistics
The total population of AMEC students of Bs Psychology,
Dentistry, Rad.tech, Med.tech and Midwifery researcher
taken the random sample of 181 Student as respondents
for survey
Instrument Used: The questionnaire is adopted from the
previous research “ Influence of sports on the well-being
of psychology students of AMEC” by Abhishek, Ravi,
Sonali, jasrotialparul, Patidar Ashwin and with
conciliation of the adviser and panel members.

Summary of Demographic Profile
Age Of the total 181 respondents most no. of respondents belonging to 19-20 with
110 students, followed by 17-18 of 42 students and the least belonging to 23 and
above.
Sex There are nearly equal no. of male and female students , but males are little more
number than females. i.e., male 93 and female 88.
Religion Majority are Christians with 97 students, followed by Hindu with 76 students and
Muslims are least with 8 students.
Course Majority of respondents are psychology students, with dentistry and med.tech
being nearly equal, and few from Rad.tech
Sports Badminton is likes by majority of the students , basketball and volleyball are equal
number of respondents 30 each, followed by cricket and swimming .
Nationality Majority of the respondents are Indians (100), followed by Filipinos(80), and there
is only one respondents in Nigeria.

students in everyday life. Sports should be included their routine life to make their
body fit and for a stress-free life.
Students should be more involved in physical activity, as an exercise for well-being
and can be a bridge for a good relationship with friends.
