Summary: Power window motor in Automotive sector is used to lift the window of the vehicle up down. This is a
Permanent magnet DC motor (PMDC) works at 12v dc this motor will have a positive temp Co-efficient thermostat
which will trip the motor circuit whenever it is over heated.

Description: The Electro-Mechanical Actuator (EMA) is used in a missile to take diversion to reach the target. EMA
consists of four main parts BLDC motor, Satellite roller screw mechanism, Mechanical gear box, Hall sensors, LVDT
and Tacho generator.
Project # 6: Production Line for BLDC Motor
Project # 7: Tail & Wing Actuator Development (For AKASH Missile) Client: BDL, Hyderabad.
Description: The Electro Pneumatic Actuator (EPA) is subsystem for AKASH missile. These are closed loop control
electronics to drive the actuators for controlling the fin direction of missile. This consists of FRV and Potentiometer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
♦ Design & Development of CRU, TMR, TRB and related test jigs for Agni missile ground systems.
♦ Schematic design preparation using AUTOCAD MEHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL software’s.

Summary: Risk mitigation Testing is to find the Partial Discharge at which the insulation strength failing at ambient
and altitude conditions when exposed to higher altitude conditions. (Acceleration life test or corona test)

♦ Involved in the motor design to meet the performance by calculation.

improve the motor as per the IS374.

Ltd, Hyderabad May 2007 to JUNE 2012 (5.1 years): Electrical Engineer Wiring Harness Design for Agni Missile Client: RCI, Hyderabad. Project #1: Triple modular redundancy relay box (TMR), Project #2: Checkout relay unit (CRU) and Test jig, Project #3: Telemetry relay box (TRB) and Test jig, Description: The above project is the one used to switch the DC output of power supplies to various sub systems in the missile. It consists of relays for providing breaks for external power and pyro to flight vehicle through triple and dual modular redundancy technique (TMR & DMR). These relays are rooted by using of wiring harness. Project #4: Power window motor (28V DC) Client: Technico Ind. Ltd. Delhi. On Job Training (OJT) from a Japanese expert Mr. OTSUKA on motor design & manufacturing. Summary: Power window motor in Automotive sector is used to lift the window of the vehicle up down. This is a Permanent magnet DC motor (PMDC) works at 12v dc this motor will have a positive temp Co-efficient thermostat which will trip the motor circuit whenever it is over heated. Project #5: Electro-Mechanical Actuator (5KW) Client: RCI, Hyderabad. Description: The Electro-Mechanical Actuator (EMA) is used in a missile to take diversion to reach the target. EMA consists of four main parts BLDC motor, Satellite roller screw mechanism, Mechanical gear box, Hall sensors, LVDT and Tacho generator. Project # 6: Production Line for BLDC Motor Project # 7: Tail & Wing Actuator Development (For AKASH Missile) Client: BDL, Hyderabad. Description: The Electro Pneumatic Actuator (EPA) is subsystem for AKASH missile. These are closed loop control electronics to drive the actuators for controlling the fin direction of missile. This consists of FRV and Potentiometer. Roles & Responsibilities: ♦ Design & Development of CRU, TMR, TRB and related test jigs for Agni missile ground systems. ♦ Schematic design preparation using AUTOCAD MEHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL software’s. ♦ Good knowledge on selection of cable, connector, back shells, labeling system, shielding. ♦ Preparation of specifications, data sheets, Bill of material (BOM), Process Sheet, Sub Assembly drawing. ♦ Development of wiring Harness rooting according to customer requirement. ♦ Preparation of QT, AT, design Data Card, Test procedures (with bench level and test jig). ♦ Well known of usage of instrument like, LCR meter, Insulation resistance (IR) meter, Hi-Pot (Dielectric) Tester, Bonding Resistance Meter. ♦ Involving in third party inspection and certification approvals (MSQAA, SSQAG, R&QA, DGCA) ♦ Hands on experience in wiring harness engineering and development with knowledge various cable finishing tools and techniques such as crimp, solder, splicing, potting, sleeving, printing, Connectorisation. ♦ Hands on experience in designing and developing cable harnesses and looms of different shapes and sizes, including straight, spliced, jointed, curved, asymmetrical, trailing etc. ♦ Hands on experience in complex interconnections systems, with sound practical application of various electrical standards as applicable to cables, wires, connectors, cable accessories such as flanges, heads, clamps, ties. ♦ Hands on experience in various test tools and techniques to test, qualify and install various kinds of cable harnesses, cables, wires and looms for the aviation and defense industry. ♦ Able use tools such as Cable Markers, cable and sleeve printing machines, fault locators etc. ♦ Having experience in planning, budgeting, resourcing, implementation, monitoring and controlling activities such as review of layouts, loom board designs, drawings, computing Bill of Materials at enquiry stage itself, release procedures and other replication collaterals, storage and dispatch of critical cable systems and finally, managing traceability requirements. Project #3: 787 Boeing & A350 Airbus Motors high voltage and Partial discharge (Corona) Testing Summary: Risk mitigation Testing is to find the Partial Discharge at which the insulation strength failing at ambient and altitude conditions when exposed to higher altitude conditions. (Acceleration life test or corona test) Technical paper: “HV risk mitigation testing on A350 and 787 electric motors”. Projects Handled At L&T Technology services: L&T Technology services, Mumbai SEP 2014 to JAN 2015 (5 Months): Project Lead Project #1: BLDC Ceiling Fan Motor (24V DC), Clint: NIDEC, Japan ♦ Indian market study on sealing fan BLDC motor for localization. ♦ Suggested on list of electrical and mechanical tests as per the IS374. ♦ Identification of testing resources in India to qualify the motor as per IS374. ♦ Involved in the motor design to meet the performance by calculation. ♦ Preparation of acceptance test procedure and test report process as per the customer requirements. ♦ Customer (manufacturer) visiting along with Japan Clint for testing and explained the further requirement to improve the motor as per the IS374. ♦ Coordinating with clit to visit all the ceiling fan manufacturers (USHA, BAJAJ, HAVELLS and CG) in India to evaluate the proto performance. ♦ Identified the list of India motor parts supplier to get the material details, quotations and prepared the bill of materials (BOM) as per the required customer format. ♦ Organized weekly meeting with customers to update the progress status, deliverables on time and getting work for further weeks.
