US Food Predictive Modeling
To understand the Weekly cases (box) delivered to the US food warehouse from different vendors; 100
different SARIMA-X models had been applied in R software to predict the cases for each 100 US food
warehouses. The external factors like temperature, snowfall, inflation, GDP, holiday calendar being
also used for forecasting the Weekly cases demand for US food warehouse.
Forecasting tools:
Statistical: ARIMA, SARIMA, SARIMA-X, HOLT- WINTER (both additive and multiplicative), Fit a
linear model with time series components, Fit a linear model with time series components (trends) and
Fourier series for seasonal components, ARCH, GARCH, GJR-GARCH, E-GARCH, VAR
Artificial neural network(ANN): Single–layer Perceptron, Multi-layer Perceptron, Radial basis
networks, Nonlinear autoregressive neural network(NAR)
RBS Credit Card Predictive Modeling
To understand whether the Royal Bank of Scotland(RBS) will lend the credit card to their respective
customer based on the credit score and total asset of each customer: Executed the logistic regression
model in R and further estimated the probability of each customer for providing the credit card.
Flipkart Predictive modeling
To identify the Brand ID using the other features (Category ID and Product Features): Executed the text mining
in Product features under DTM(Document Term Matrix) and Further Brand ID is being predicted using the
Support Vector Machine (SVM) tools in R
Tesco Item Set Analysis
To understand the most frequent item set purchased by customer in Teso; Market Basket Analysis tools
executed under Apriori Algorithm in R .
Star TV Viewers Comment Analysis
To understand the Youth comment on different topics (like IPL, Politics) being administrated under K- means
clustering tools in R.
