Homeschooling Take Spotlight in New Site Launch
Is Homeschooling a Better Option Than Public Schooling?
Philadelphia is battling an educational crisis that publicized in international news media. Though the
headlines of media websites across the globe shine the light squarely on public schools, Education
Voters Pennsylvania has its eyes squarely set on homeschooling. On December 5, 2013, Education
Voters Pennsylvania will launch a site, Home is The Best School
https://sites.google.com/site/homeisthebestschool. This new site highlights a much overlooked
educational option, homeschooling.
The site will feature curriculum resources that allow parents to hop into the driver’s seat of their child’s
education. The resources include a multicultural view of American History and the true origins of
holidays like Thanksgiving.
Rather than adding to the growing number of public school critics, Home School is the Best School,
simply aims to showcase the many benefits of homeschooling and provide much needed resources for
home school enrichment.
