Tulsa,OK – The Grief Centerhasbrought DeathCafé to Tulsa!The next eventwill be heldonThursday,
January15th
, at Maxxwell’sRestaurantat2636 E. 11th Streetonthe cornerof HistoricRoute 66 and
Birminghamfrom6:00pm to 7:30pm in the secondfloormeeting room.
It isnot counseling.Itisnota supportgroup. It isjusttalking.
In 2011 inEngland,JonUnderwoodandSue Barsky Reidformedthe firstDeathCafé,aplace for people
to come togetherandtalk aboutheavytopicsoverlightrefreshments.DeathCafé came toAmericain
2012 and nowmore than 900 eventsare hostedin19 countriesaroundthe world.
DeathCafé Tulsa hasbeentakingplace as a pop-upeventaroundtownonthe 3rd Thursdayof every
month.The Grief Centerwill continuetosponsorthe DeathCafé Tulsathrough2015. Every eventisfree
and opento the public.

Everymeetingbeginswithrefreshments,cake,andaquestion:“Whyare youhere?”Thenthe
