PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
1. SUPERINTENDENCE OF INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (Competition Authority of Colombia).
Legal Advisor at Superintendent´s office
Legal advice and support to the Superintendent in all matters related to the protection of
competition regime in Colombia, such as drafts of administrative resolutions deciding
anticompetitive practices and antitrust investigations, decisions of merger reviews, drafts of
regulations and legislative proposals regarding competition, and support the Superintendence
in the accession process of Colombia to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and
Development (OECD).
2. MINISTRY OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY AND TOURISM.
Legal Advisor to the Small and Medium Business Direction (2012-2013)
Prepare the contracts and coordinate all the legal mechanisms needed to implement all the
Programs leaded by the Direction in benefit of the small and medium entrepreneurs in
Colombia, such as the promotion of the national market and the projection of the medium and
small enterprises in the global market.
Legal Advisor to the Enterprise Formalization Program (2011 -2012)
Participated on the different phases of the contracts that were necessary to implement the
Enterprise Formalization Program; prepared and reviewed drafts of laws, decrees and
regulations regarding enterprise formalization and communicated the benefits of the
“Formalization and Employment Generation Act” (Ley 1429 de 2010) to the medium and small
