Adult Sunday School
Studying a series of lessons entitled “The Great Deceiver”, a
Bible Study about Satan as he is known to us in the Bible. Join
the group in the library at 9:30AM between Sunday services.

with your Kroger Plus Card. This does not cost
you anything!! You get the same deals and
coupons, but Kroger will donate a small
percentage of your bill to the church. Small
percents add up if we all sign up. You must do
this once a year in April to renew. Please log on
now and update your account.

16. Preparation for First Communion classes begins Sunday,
June 15* during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 a.m. and
continues each Sunday through July 6.
We will meet in the Conference Room.
All youth who are eight years old and up are invited to

18. On Saturday, April 26th, Lutheran Social Services is hosting a
Service Day at the Vinton County warehouse.
Several youth groups from Central Ohio will be in the area
working on a variety of projects. Karla Hanson is looking for
some volunteers to help serve and clean up breakfast (no
cooking required). Breakfast starts at 8 AM and everyone
should be on their way to assigned jobs by 10 AM. The
warehouse is about 30 minutes from the church. If
interested, please contact Karla by phone, 740-701-2683, or

hope! It is time to think about the
beautiful potted flowers that make
our church even more special and
bring such pleasure to the
community. If you would like to

21. SUMMER TIME!
Now that the weather is finally turning it’s time to start
getting the outside of our property in order. Mowing has
already started! Along with mowing and trimming every
week soon we will have potted flowers that will need
watering everyday and flower beds that need weeded and
mulched. We are looking for people that like to get their
hands dirty to help us out. You can volunteer for any of
these jobs on-line from our website.

Council is in the process of creating promotional materials
for Calvary. They are seeking photographs of fun activities
and times enjoyed at Calvary. These photos will be used
for a promotional tri-fold and also be on the Website.
If you have photos you would like to share please send
them to Tom Breeden at tdbbea@roadrunner.com or save
them to a disk and leave in Tom’s mailbox. If you have real
photos (not electronic) you would like to share leave them
in Tom’s mailbox along with your name. We will scan them
and return them to you.

The church secretary will be out of the office on: April
22, 23,24 and 28. Regular office hours of 9 am to 3 pm
Monday thru Thursday will resume April 29th.
