Callum worked at DFS from June 2011 to June 2013, initially in the position of Travel Specialist before
being promoted to Travel Sales Supervisor.
The position of Travel Specialist was a customer facing role involving the use of a complex portfolio of
travel products, and which also required excellent verbal and written communication skills and utmost
discretion. Callum excelled at the role from the outset, and quickly established himself one of our most
reliable members of staff. Callum was also given extra responsibility for training, which is indicative of
the faith we placed in his ability.
When the opportunity arose, Callum was the obvious candidate for promotion to Travel Sales
Supervisor, managing a team of Travel Specialists and taking on additional tasks as required by senior
management. Callum took the extra responsibility in his stride, and was very pro-active in the role.
