adoption in NYC shelters.
RECYCLE! Rational Animal
volunteers donate blankets, fabric,
and t-shirts that they then turn into
comfy beds for the animals.
You’ll be helping animals
and preserving the planet!
REUSE! All beds made for Rational Animal’s
Mother’s Comfort Project can be cleaned and
sterilized in a standard washer and dryer and
then reused for animals new to the shelter.
Learn about adoption and reducing
homeless animal populations.
REDUCE! Rational Animal uses fabric
collected by Materials for the Arts, a
place for donated goods that would
otherwise have ended up in the garbage.
We can work together to REDUCE stray populations, the number of animals that
end up in shelters, and the euthanizing of thousands of healthy animals each year.
