2. WhatisTheReasonforthisdrive?
This Drive is to collect toys, food, and blankets. All
the things we raise go to the shelter and the organization
C.A.S.I. (Carson Animal Services Initiative) which is a
program to help animals in need.

3. WHatisC.A.S.I ?
C.A.S.I. (which stands for Carson Animal Services Initiative) is
an organization that helps save dogs and cats and keeps them in
shelters. They recently broke ground as the newest shelter in Carson
City. They make sure the animals are well taken care of until they
are adopted. Even though they are taken care of, the dogs and cats
don't get much attention due to all the animals. This is why we're
doing a fundraiser.

4. Blankets
The dogs at the shelters are in need of blankets. Smaller
blankets are the best. They are easiest to store and easiest
to clean. For instance, if you have a quilt, cut into fourths
and that is the right
size for a blanket at the shelter.

5. Food
CASI needs all types of food, but the
most needed kind is wet food. Dry dog
food can’t be fed to dogs with
injured mouths, so wet food is
appreciated. However, wet or dry food
is great for donation!

6. Dogtoys:IsitAppropriate ?
The shelter is very
protective of their animals -
they only like toys that are
durable and won’t choke the
dog or hurt its digestion
system. Good dog toys are
Nylabones and Kong toys. Bad
Dog toys are rawhide bones.

7. WhatAboutCats?
Cats need litter, food, and toys

8. WhatisgoodfortheCats
➢For food, the cats need dry food and soft cat food for
when they are hurt or if they are kittens.
➢For toys, they like things the cat can fidget with and be
entertained even when no one is available to play with
them. Examples are balls with bells and the feather and
mouse toys.
➢For litter, any would be appreciated that has not been
opened and used before.

9. C.A.S.IMoneyDonations
All donations are going towards
C.A.S.I. (Carson Animal Services
Initiative) The shelter will use
the money for play areas for all of
the animals, a shade for the
shelter, and will pay for the cost
of medical needs for any animals
that are in need of it. Not to
mention toys and other less
important things to fulfill the
animal’s needs.
