CEDACH-GIS構築について

Editor's Notes

  1. 日本学術振興会特別研究員 PD の山口欧志です。藤本さんの報告に引き続きまして、私は被災した文化遺産の復興を支援する CEDACH GIS の概要について、ご報告いたします。また清野さんには CEDACH GIS の実際の整備作業の様子を、近藤さんには今後の展望を踏まえた応用例の提示をお願いいたしております。
  2. CEDACH には現時点で歴史学・考古学・文化財科学・情報学の専門家 25 人以上が参加しています。活動の柱は、被災文化遺産地理情報システム「 CEDACH GIS 」と現地調査支援システムの構築と運用、それから国内外への情報発信です。これらを、被災地の自治体や博物館、あるいは地域の NPO やボランティアの方々と連携しながら進めていきます。私たち３名は CEDACH GIS の取り組みに絞って、ご紹介いたします。
  3. CEDACH GIS は、被災した文化遺産の救援を後方支援するための情報基盤として位置づけ、その整備を４月７日から開始しています。文化遺産に関わる様々な情報を地理情報を利用してひとつにまとめることができるようにします。
  4. CEDACH GIS では、被災地域の文化遺産地図の作成を進めています。現在のところ、国・県・市町村の登録文化財、特に埋蔵文化財つまり遺跡を中心に取り扱っていますが、将来的に未指定の文化遺産も取り込めるようにしたいと考えています。ここにお示ししたのは岩手県にある遺跡の位置です。元データは奈良文化財研究所のデータベースの一部（約 55000 件）を利用させていただいています。この地図を見ると位置が大きくずれているものがあります。そこで現在、埋蔵文化財の専門家がボランティアとして位置情報の確認・修正作業を進めています。
