• Supervise installation and setting process of high temperature, high pressure hydraulic fracturing
tools
• Calculate and apply all pertinent displacements, capacities, buoyancies, differential pressures to
packers plus equipment and use calculated values to solve any related issues
• Calculate and apply appropriate yield strengths and safety factors to varying tensile loads
• Calculate pipe deformation and apply to troubleshoot potential issues
• Understand down-hole issues and they may effect packers plus equipment
• Trouble shoot potential issues with a variety of mechanical equipment on a drilling rig (pressure
leaks, valve alignment, equipment failure etc.)
• Oversee and record a technical written summary for a 24 hour operation
• Use Microsoft Excel to calculate and record all relevant calculations
• Work independently with little to no supervision
• Responsible for teaching trainee field engineers and field operators who have varying experience
