The NDP has gone through
the public consultation
process and the Examiner
has made some
modifications
Committee accepted the
Examiner’s modifications
and recommends to
Cabinet that the plan
proceeds to referendum
6. COUNCIL TAX REDUCTION
SCHEME
Committee considered
the equality impacts
outlined in the report and
a number of
amendments to the
current scheme.
Cabinet are asked to
support the changes with
effect from 2016/17

CHANGES

implications of proposed
changes to the scheme, as
well as the potential
income generation
possibilities

8. PRIVATE SECTOR LEASING
SCHEME REVIEW
Committee were
appraised of the
achievements of the
scheme to date
The Committee
supported extension of
the scheme for a further
12 months
9. HANDYPERSON+ SERVICE
A 12 month review report
was presented to
Committee outlining the
achievements of the
service. Further potential
funding of the service were
also outlined.
Committee recommended
options 1, 2 and 3 for
Cabinet to approve the
continuation of this scheme
for another year
10. ANNUAL AUDIT LETTER
Committee considered the
Audit letter.
Councillors sought
information on what the
significant deficiencies
were that the letter alluded
to.
Committee requested a
written response be
provided and if necessary,
the matter be discussed at
a future meeting.
