2. INTRODUCTION
 With a juris doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law, Brad
Rostolsky is a partner at Reed Smith and provides legal advice on health
information privacy and security practice. An Ambler, Pennsylvania
resident, attorney Brad Rostolsky belongs to professional associations
such as the American Health Lawyers Association. He has also served as a
cochair for its Privacy and Security Risk Compliance and Enforcement
Affinity Group.
The American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) is an industry group that
represents the interests of nearly 14,000 members working in the health-
care field. The organization offers in-person and on-demand learning
opportunities to provide guidance on the practice of health-care law. One
of the AHLA’s upcoming events is the Fundamentals of Health Law, which
will be held on November 17-19, 2019, at the Chicago Marriott Downtown
Magnificent Mile.

3. HEALTH LAW
 The three-day program aims to impart knowledge and understanding of
the legal challenges facing the health-care industry, as well as laws and
regulations like antitrust statutes, Stark and Anti-Kickback, the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the False Claims
Act. The AHLA has invited speakers from the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services and other organizations to discuss the foundations of
health law and Medicaid and its current reform efforts. The agenda also
features extended sessions to address emerging business, operational,
and legal issues in health-care agencies.
