- 2. Background Academic library is a key cultivation base of campus and social culture, we aim to improve readers’ spiritual world from a more intimate perspective. Reading is an artistic way to enjoy life. Recommendation of a book one day helps to create a better reading environment on campus. Reading goes more personal and digital among college students, new media reading spawned a new way of reading.

Grass-root recommendations. All the book reviews are from the students, which can best fit their needs and interests. Short and pithy. Students can enjoy the best part of a book over a waiting line.

- 5. Innovations “Micro” platform：Twittered through the new micro media: WeChat, which is a new reading media. “Micro” reading: recommendation of a book through a original short book review with selected paragraphs from the book, creating amazing reading experiences over a short time. Two contents:

Special column Mar.,2016 Go off-line READay invited students to submit their book reviews READay upgraded into two parts: original book review and a glimps of the book through selected paragraphs READay went off-line,holding several book-sharing meetings among readers and between readers and writers. READay went online, twittering book reviews day on day READay joined hands with Kung Fu Society, making a special column on swordsmen.

- 读书是一种享受生活的艺术，作为图书馆，我们希望能够每天为读者推荐一本书，在校园里营造读书的热烈氛围。 在数字化新形势下，大学生大学生的阅读方式更个性化、数字化，新媒体阅读催生了新的阅读方式。 高校图书馆是校园文化和社会文化建设的重要基地，阅读推广更是图书馆读者活动的重要组成部分，我们希望能从更亲切通俗的角度为读者提供精神食粮。
- 读书天的创新点有以下四点。 一项立意，见微知著，微信推送读书天，向读者推荐著作。 两层内容，“微”平台：读书天活动立足微信这个新媒体阅读推广平台，代表新兴的阅读方式与阅读理念。“微”阅读，短小精悍的书评与精品段落推荐，都让读者通过简短的微阅读，了解图书。
- 三者融合，读者，作者，推荐者三者融合。最为重要的推荐者相当于一个灵魂的架桥师，连接读者与作者，三者相互融合，产生共鸣。 四个层次， 见即展示，推荐者展示书评，读者借阅这一份感悟。 微即微言，读书天节选好书精彩段落推荐，在碎片化的时间里获得无限的精彩。 知即交流，读书天由线上到线下，读者各抒己见，思想从纸上灵动起来。 著即著作，读书天的本质是纯粹的阅读，专注读书。
- 下面与大家回顾一下读书天的发展历程。2015.6《读书天》通过微信向大家约稿。2015.6.19《读书天》正式上线，每天为读者推送一篇书评。2015.11《读书天》升级为“原创书评”与“精彩段落抢先读”两个模块。2015.12《读书天》与武侠社联合推出武侠专题荐书月。2016.3《读书天》走向线下，举办多次读书分享会，作家交流会。
- 为迎合读者兴趣，《读书天》也会定期推出一些专题推荐。2015年12月底与北京科技大学武侠社合作推出了为期一个月的“武侠主题荐书月”，专门向读者们推荐了各类武侠图书。
- 线上的荐书可以为读者拓展阅读宽度，而线下的分享更能挖掘深度阅读。《读书天》走向线下，为读者提供了多次思想交流与碰撞的机会。
- 上线至今，《读书天》表现不俗，《读书天》品牌深入北科学子心中。截止2016年10月31日，读书天已连续荐书195册，累积阅读量达3万人次。读书天培养定期荐书人15人，荐书占总量的75%，来自定期荐书人的荐书质量和受欢迎程度较高，忠实读者众多。 通过对荐书类型的统计，我们发现文学类图书荐书比例高达64%，高居榜首。哲学宗教类、政治法律类、历史地理类、社会科学总论类也都是读者们经常推荐给《读书天》的。
