In sonnet 130 Shakespeare did not exaggerate his love for his wife but during that time other did it. By Structure The structure of Shakespeare’s sonnet is much more different from the traditional sonnets. He always used his own structure (3 Quatrains containing 4 lines & a Couplet of 2 lines) for his sonnet rather using the structure of Petrarchan structure. Conclusion A love sonnet is generally a beautiful poem, written for simple pleasure and enjoyment. In “sonnet 130” the conventional effect of romance through satire, metaphor and nature.
