2. Our Film Classification
We want our film to be classified a 15. Our target
audience and content suite the classification
perfectly. If the film was a 12A the teenage target
audience may be put off, thinking it is not as
graphic and adult and they would like, and if the
film was an 18 the teenage audience would not
be aloud to visit the cinema to see it, which is
where the psychological horror genre gets its
views. The film contains brief scenes of violence
and other adult, graphic content, so the British
Board of film classification (BBFC) would classify
‘Remembrance’ as a 15.
