3. Project Definition
Objective
● To develop a prototype of Wireless sensor network development which can
demonstrate the real time example
● To communicate between the devices without using extended cables, Internet
or Bluetooth
● To transfer data from one remote location to another
4. Requirements
● Hardware
○ Arduino UNO, Joystick module, PIR module, Water level Sensor, nRF24L01, Gripper and
Servo motor
● Environment
○ Arduino IDE
● Documentation
○ Microsoft Office Word 2016
● System Design Diagrams
○ Draw.io and Microsoft Visio 2016
6. LIMITATIONS
● Maintenance might be difficult on a larger scale
● Precision might be a factor to worry about but it can be resolved by
introducing highly precised sensors and modules
● Storing of data of the sensor in a database may cause some problems.
Possible solutions could be by using cloud based services or any physical
physical memory.
7. FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
● Collect data from both physical and environmental conditions storing into
database and later performing data mining and data analysis on the data to
generate desired output.
● A network of sensor on a bigger scale.
● Other sensors with more precision value can be used to collect plethora of
data.
8. CONCLUSION
● “Wireless Sensor Network Development” is a system where one can see how
the data signal communicate with each other through radio frequency.
● The main challenges were in the design and implementation of WSN which
needs robust configuration and maintenance of the individual sensor nodes in
terms of memory and energy distribution, data processing capability and life
span.
