ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Title: Flexural analysis of Palm Fiber reinforced hybrid polymer matrix composite.
Project Guide: Dr. G. Venkatachalam (Associate Professor, VIT).
This project was published in the journal IOPSCIENCE. This project was presented in
Beijing, China and was appreciated by the jury.
Title: Multi-Level Car parking system model

This project was a part of hardware project (First semester – 2013-14)
Title: Designing a new type of radiator
Project Guide: Prof. K. Senthilkumar (VIT).
This project was a part of design project. The designs were made using Solid Works and
analyzed using ANSYS Workbench. This type of design turned out to be successful.
Title: Modularization of Products - Muck Truck
Project Guide: Prof. Colin De Kwant (KTH).
This project was a part of modularization of products course The objectives of this
project were to Decrease operational costs, Decrease Time to Market, Increase the market
share, have more product variants per segment and Introduce innovation and possibility
to develop within the market of Muck Truck.
Title: Product Lifecycle and Management of a Furniture Company using ARAS
Project Guide: Prof Per Johansson (KTH).
Furniture Company is designing, marketing, manufacturing, and delivering the “Hemnes”
bed series from IKEA among other household furniture. A customer should be able to
choose length, width and color of the bed. Thus there were a set of inputs given by the
company for which a PLM system was implemented using ARAS.
BACHELORS THESIS
Title: Analysis of SKI BAR related problems during transportation of Vehicles at Ford
Motors, India.
Project Guide: Mr. Ananthakrishnan (Ford Motors, Chennai).
3. A Ski-bar is used in the transportation of a car from the body shop when it is just
welded sheet metal, through various manufacturing stages till it reaches the
assembly line (TCF) at Ford, India.
The main purpose of this project was to give solutions to Ford regarding the Ski-
bar by altering the design parameters as well as adding a few materials to the Ski-
Bar to provide stability.
SolidWorks, AutoCAD and ANSYS were used during the design and analysis
stages during this project.
OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS
Won Prizes in the Mirudangam (An Indian Musical Instrument) competition conducted by
various clubs in India.
Represented my college team in the Inter-College Badminton tournament conducted in
VIT University, Vellore (2012)
Represented the State Cricket Team in India.
Represented the school team in the Frank Anthony Memorial National-Level Debate
competition held in Hyderabad in September 2010
Presented a project at the National Children's Science Congress in 2007. The title of the
project was Social Forestry-An awakening, the need of the hour in November 2007. It was
commended at the district level.
