Profile
I am an Italian Brazilian ballet dancer trained in Guaíra Theater Dance School in
Curitiba, Brazil. Later on I developed my skills in Cannes, France, where I received the
best mentions and praises in École Supérieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower.
Under the direction of Carlos Trincheiras, I was Guaíra Theater’s Principal Dancer until
1982, when I was hired by the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro by public
examination. Soon promoted to First Soloist, I danced my first roles with great dancers
such as Julio Bocca, Jean-Yves Lormeau and Vladmir Vasiliev, directed by Dalal
Achcar.
Ballet dancer invited by many dance companies in South America, I was a reference in
the Brazilian ballet. My privileged longilineal body and lyricism made my presentations of
the Romantic repertoire particularly beautiful, resulting in excellent comments by
specialized criticism.
I represented Brazil in many prestigious competitions such as USA International Ballet
Competition, in Jackson, and the Masako Ohya World Ballet Competition, in Osaka.
