Templato is a software that standardizes reports for inspections, audits, and surveys across Android, iOS, and the web. It reduces data collection and report writing time. Inspectors enter data using customizable templates, which are automatically turned into standardized reports. Users can access, edit, and share reports securely on Templato's cloud portal from any device with an internet connection. The software ensures inspections are completed according to the user's standards. Templato reports can then be filtered, compared, and downloaded in various formats.

Capabilities
We say that each type of survey/audit/inspection follows a standard template. The template
determines what data (and photographs) Templato requires the Inspector to collect. The
template also defines the validation rules that prompt the inspector to enter data that complies
with your own standards. For example, it defines which values are required, the maximum and
minimum allowed values, the normal range, options and so on.
Templato has already being trialled (successfully) with nine templates for the offshore oil and
gas sector. They are:
Explosion Proof (EX-rated) Hazardous Area Electrical Equipment survey
Dropped Objects DROPS survey
Warehouse/Yard Inventory Analysis
and surveys for six kinds of Jacking Equipment
We are also working on templates for Crane Condition Evaluations (CCE) and inspection of
solar panels. It is very quick and easy to develop new templates for Templato, which means
that its potential capabilities are only limited by your imagination.
We have ideas in mind across the following sectors:
Agriculture
Automotive
Education
Engineering
Environment
Health and Safety
Hotels and hospitality
Inventory
Land agency
Logistics
Manufacturing
Maritime
Mining
Oil and gas
Real Estate
Restaurants and
catering
Solar energy
Transport
Wildlife and nature
Wind energy

A little bit about us
Templato Ltd. (incorporated in the UK 2014) is the maker of Templato for Android, iOS and
the web. The idea was conceived of in 2011 but underwent a lot of iterations and
modifications to become the product we know today. As of mid-2016, we are finally in a
position to share our new product with you.
We are a young and dynamic company, driven by a passion for continuous improvement. As
our software is very new, we work closely with customers and are highly responsive to their
feedback, forever working to implement new features to suit them.
Our five programmers began their careers in blue-chip corporations such as Oracle and
Microsoft but left to find more exciting opportunities. They are meticulous and methodical but
at the same time inventive, creative and energetic.
Our two designers work on aesthetics and user experience to make Templato as intuitive and
simple as possible for our users
The company is directed by PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and
entrepreneur, Benjamin Charlton. A self-taught software analyst, his first commercial project
was a diagnostic tool for a doctor’s surgery in his hometown, aged just 16. Benjamin graduated
from Oxford University in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Politics and Economics, then from
Warwick University in 2009 with an MA in International Relations. Since then, he garnered
experience in enterprise software change from mergers, acquisitions and management buy-
outs across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia.
We have experience in publishing, education, healthcare, energy, maritime, and e-commerce
and we think Templato can make a big splash in all these industries and beyond.
