1. Before editing
I have chosen the KTGranulator effect on
the sound of vents I recorded. The main
aim here was to make a kind of car engine
noise.

After editing
The main parameters I have changed are IOT, Duration, Amplification, Pitch, Shape and skew. IOT
added a kind of break down in volume so that it isn’t just one constant noise, Duration extended these
volume changes, Amplification made the sounds louder, Pitch made part of the vent sound higher
pitch, Shape seemed to strengthen the vent sound and Skew made the sound slightly sharper.
