taken to make sure that a project is
completed successfully with the least
amount of difficulty as possible.

To keep a project on track
To make sure that all of the project's
requirements are met within the
appropriate timeframe.
To help the project manager make sure
that all of the individuals are working on
the project in order meet their deadlines

5. OBJECTIVE
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information about
the project status and performance throughout the
project lifecycle.
