- 5. CITY OF BEND | LESSONS LEARNED Construction • Narrow - hand compaction – rougher ride • Color was not integral – fading Operations • Narrow – hand sweep • Debris • pinecones • pine needles • cinders • Family style riders love it • Faster commuter riders do not (unless queue of cars!)
