 Go around the ward on rounds with or without doctors to ensure an active role
in treatment process in terms of drug prescription.
 Monitoring the side effects and any interactions in case of anew or alternative
medicine has been prescribed.
 Ensure that medication are all given under sterile conditions and that storage
is as per drug container specification.
 Checking the medication to ensure the proper dosage form is being provided.

Responsibilities:
 Dispense medicine according to doctor's prescription.
 Ensure that the best treatment option has been chosen.
 Ensure that patient understands all information about the drug, its side effect
