3. FILM FUND : Aide aux cinemas du monde
A selective funds granted as a subsidy either before or after completion of a
project. It is granted to foreign feature-length film projects that are seeking
support from French co-producers.
Subsidy given to the French co-producer.
2 types : pre-production (funding for production) & post-production
(funding for finishing).
Max. : € 250,000 for pre-filming subsidy, € 50,000 for post-filming subsidy.
Subsidy of maximum 50% of the funding of French part of the project.

5. PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS : Cinéfondation
3 actions to support to the new generations of filmmakers :
The Selection – 20 short films from film schools / Official Cannes Selection
Fiction/Animation only, no documentaries.
3 cash prizes + guarantee for winner to have his/her 1st feature at Cannes.
The Residence – 4½ half month residence in Paris to write a 1st or 2nd feature
Residence, personnalised program + meetings with film professionnals.
The Atelier – Directors are feature projects invited to Cannes
The Cinefondation publish a Project Brochure, organise meetings with
producers, distributors and grant managers, associate the directors with the daily
life of the festival.

A tailored program during Cannes Film Festival.

7. PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS : Produire au Sud
A workshop focusing on the outline and structure of coproduction within the
film industry for young producers and directors from Asia/Africa/Latin America,
by experts in this field.
Dedicated to any producer with a director who currently develops a feature
fiction fiction project.
7 days in Nantes (France) : production masterclasses (coproduction contracts,
fundraising, sales), marketing workshop (pitching), scriptwriting workshop.
After each workshop, the young producers are proposed a follow-up for their
project.

8. PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS : SEAFICxPAS
Produire au Sud's Southeast Asia workshop, set in Thailand.
The directors and screenwriter shall attend SEAFIC’s script development
lab, while in parallel the producers of those same projects shall attend
Produire au Sud.
3 labs sessions over 9 months, ending with presentation of front of an experts
jury.

9. PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS : FIDLab
A workspace around selected film projects to offer directors the opportunity
for dynamic meetings with producers, support funds, broadcasters,
distributors.
10 international projects are selected, without criteria of format, duration,
subject, fiction and documentary, whether at the stage of writing, development or
post-production.
2 stages : oral/visual presentation of the projects to a professionnal public, a
day of individual interviews.
Prizes awarded to best projects by an international jury.
10. PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS : ParisDOC
Dedicated to upcoming creative documentaries features that are between the
rough cut and the final post-production stage.
2 days of work-in-progress screenings to support the distribution, promotion
and placement of feature-documentaries by connecting project holders to
industry professionals (festival and TV programmers, sales agents, theatrical
and digital distributors).
A unique opportunity for project holders to plan the career of their film
in a creative environment.
