O ur Principal Dr. Arun Surendran , Asst.Prof. A lex Tharun, Asst.Prof. Jomy
and final year Civil Engineering students Jasmine, Priya, Anjitha, and
Aneesha had a meeting with Trivandrum M ayor Adv. V K Prasanth. The
students presented their innovative project idea Experimental Analysis of
Strength and Durability of Concrete Pavement using Nylon Fiber and
Flex. M ayor was deeply interested in the possibility of reusing fle x in the
infrastructure projects in the city. He advised implementing the project in
small scale by using interlocking pavement blocks. If the result is satisfactory
he would provide support fo r the further developm ent of the project.
M ayor forw a rd e d the project report to the Chief Engineer of the Trivan­
drum Corporation. He also posted enthusiastically about the meeting on his
facebook. W e thank him and his office staff fo r the opportunity to contrib­
ute to the city development.

Mr. Arunlal (CEO of Crebox) visited
our production engineering lab and
CNC lab. He had a meeting with
our alumni M r. Franklin Josemon M
(CEO of Judeon Technologies), Mr.
Vipin G opan (Director of Kinesys)
and our Production Engineering lab
instructor Mr. Raveendran about his
ideas to manufacture products by
using resins and CNC Machines.
C rebox will associate with Judeon
Technologies & Kinesys to
design and fab ricate their mechanical manufacturing of parts that they are currently outsourcing to G uja­
rat. Judeon Technologies w ill submit the design and manufacturing proposals to Crebox shortly. Crebox
is one of their principal clients.
