Armaiz gives us a detailed explanation of how cancer forms, its different stages, and its effect on an organism. In this conference Armaiz talked about how chronic stress can accelerate and further increase the damage of cancer. Basically chronic stress occurs when the patient goes through a stressful situation which is prolonged such as being diagnosed with cancer. It is demonstrated with this investigation that cancer patients are not only affected physiologically but also psychologically. You can compare stress with gun powder in a gun; it will detonate even further reactions that can severely affect the outcome of a patient. Although no real cure is available, Armaiz is studying how certain Beta-blockers can reduce or help control cancer progression. These simple blockers are used now-a- days for other purposes other than to treat cancer.
