1. What was their research about?
The Philippine Daily Inquirer's method of providing
information was modified and innovated in order to create
a modern newspaper for the digital age.
They seek to attract a younger audience since news is
rapidly shifting to digital channels, where millennials are
more likely to be found.
2. Why was this marketing research
made? What were its goals and
objectives?
To create the modern newspaper for the digital age
and to gain profit.
The project's objective was to thoroughly examine on
how Inquirer present their news and to suggest
improvements and new approaches.
3. What were the outcomes of
their research?
A series of public events promotes and introduced the
inquirer on trade shows attended by top financial,
advertising, media, and culture personalities in the
Philippines. It catches the ambassador’s attention and
made them came.
They've also successfully presented their news across five
platforms which are the smartwatch, smartphone, online,
print, and tablet.

successful based on how they
achieved their goals and objectives?
Explain shortly.
Yes, because the attainment of their goals and objectives
shows that their research is successful. This was possible
thanks to the research marketing of the Inquirer team that
focuses on relaunching the site that targets both the old
and new generations of people.

Explain shortly.
The relaunch and proper research marketing of the
Inquirer lead them to be the most visited news site in the
Philippine’s internet domain. Having a total visit of 165.3
Million and average monthly visits of 18.37 million.
