2. INTRODUCTION
 It was the beginning of the world.
 The animals were learning to work for the
humans.
 But there was a lazy animal which
refused to do any work.

3. Hi! I am the
camel. I hate to
work. So if
somebody asks
me to work,
then all I say is
“Humph!” Did
you notice my
beautiful back?
I am so proud
of it.

4. MONDAY
Humph!
Camel, O Camel,
come out and trot
like the rest of us.

5. TUESDAY
Humph!
Camel, O Camel, come and fetch
and carry like the rest of us

6. WEDNESDAY
Humph!
Camel, O Camel, come and
plough like the rest of us

7. AT THE END OF THE THIRD DAY
Three O Three, I’m very The camel is not willing to
work. So, you three must do his share of the work.

8. Humph!
We worked hard and now we
have to do the camel’s share of
the work. This is not at all fair.

desert is always idle and says
only “Humph”.
