Most of the base materials are either MDF board, glass, metal or plastic. The materials we use are hand-cut and cladded over these base materials. Black Mother-of-Pearl Mother-of-pearl is typically the smooth, iridescent substance forming the inner layer of a shell. This is Black M.o.P found particularly in seas. Abalone shell One of the most exotic creations of nature under water, this shell is found particularly in the oceans of New Zealand. Golden Mother-of-Pearl This very classy looking M.o.P is found mostly in sea shells. One can clearly see the VIBGYOR in this shell alongwith lots of gold and white. White Mother-of-Pearl White M.o.P is the most common variety available. Primarily because white is available in river shell too, making it inexpensive.

Most of the base materials are either MDF board, glass, metal or plastic. The materials we use are hand-cut and cladded over these base materials. Coconut Shell Coconut shell is dried and cut into small, almost equal pieces and then pasted in a brick pattern over a base material. Taadi wood The bark of a tree is what we refer to as Taadi wood. Small pieces are shaved off the trunk and cut into fine, thin pieces and then pasted together. Taadi wood with Bamboo Bamboo is cut into small pieces, against the grains and pasted in combination with Taadi wood. It acts as a highlighter to an otherwise dark polished wood. Bangles Bangles of different colours and designs are cut and pieces are then pasted together on a base material meticulously by craftsmen.
