Research Experience
2011-2012 Patient-oriented research – UNMC
Developed various research protocols aimed at skill acquisition and
treatment and assessment of problem behavior; examined the
behavioral momentum phenomena of resurgence, progressive ratio
schedules, and counter-conditioning in an applied context; developed
protocols to evaluate the effects of RIRD and blocking on motor and
vocal stereotypy, the influence of parent training via video modeling on
3-step guided compliance, mixed versus multiple schedules, use of
elopement-specific descriptive assessments and functional analyses to
classify elopement behavior as wandering or bolting, and the effects of
facilitating generalization via multiple exemplar training in a concurrent
versus successive manner.

Research Experience (cont’d)
2011-2013 Use of behavior skills training (BST) to train parents how to teach their
children social skills - UNMC

dyads to examine the effects of using BST to train parents on how to
teach social skills to their children; Participated in the development and

based data collection system and graphing the data in Microsoft Excel®;
revised social scenarios/vignettes to be used during session;
