Dim-Dep is an acronym for Drums and Indigenous Music Development Project. The author designed Abangoni Tribe Characters as the first tribe that descended from West Central Africa (Cradle of Humankind) to Southern Africa, led by Abba Ntu during Stone Age Era. Dim-Dep Drum- ming Rudiments were used as signal tools of communication for reunion after being dispersed by hunting, deep in the rainforest. Abangoni were practicing responsible hunting and nature preser- vation. Dim-Dep Musical is presented as a Two Bill Show that portrays Stone Age Era (Act 1) and 21st Century (Act 2). It is a story of the two women reincarnated from Later Stone Age, realizing their dream in 21st Century. “Mpume” and “Sindy” are lady hunters and strong warriors, captured and shipped away for slave trading. This is a dual themed production that carries its first theme with valuable information about the conservation of natural resources with regards to Agenda 2063 on Sustainable Development and Climate Resilience. Dim-Dep The Musical Act 2 unfolds the music history that transforms to international music and cultural revolution from Blues sang by slaves until it developed to Mainstream Jazz, Be-Bop, Cool Jazz, Modern Jazz, Bubble-gum, Hip Pop, Reggae, Rock and House. That was the journey of musical evolutions from ancient times up to the music of today.
