Anne Klene is the Senior Vice President - Asset Management Division
of Gundaker Commercial Group, Inc. (GCG). With more than 30 years
experience in asset and property management, she brings extensive
knowledge of marketing, property and facility administration, and
continuing education to her position.
Anne provides a complete understanding of the processes necessary to
manage a commercial retail property. In her current position she
oversees retail, office, industrial and multi-family properties totaling more
than 782,000 square feet. She oversees the day-to-day administration,
housekeeping and maintenance, responding in a timely manner to
unexpected emergencies and problems, lease compliance, low income
tax credit properties, collects rents, and cultivates positive tenant and
vendor relationships.
A summa cum laude graduate from the University of Detroit-Mercy, Anne
has proven her capabilities throughout her career. Her past ventures
include merchandising for major department stores, managing a $20
million territory for a leading clothier and developing and managing an
875,000 square foot regional shopping center. She is familiar with the
operation procedures necessary to keep a property under smooth
management, including preparing operation reports, negotiating and
implementing service contract, and developing marketing programs, all
while managing support staff and daily operations.
In addition to her impressive career statistics, Anne has participated in
several business and not-for-profit organizations, including Commercial
Real Estate Women (CREW) and the United Way.
