Access to high quality materials – that educators may not have time
to produce
Greater flexibility – texts and media can change along with subject
area
Enhances flipped classrooms – leaving class time for discussions and
problem solving

Difficult at times to find materials relevant to the topic
May be difficult to find high-quality materials
Time consuming to search through abundance of resources
Problems with technology may prevent access to materials
Copyright information may be difficult to locate
