Time consuming to find materials that are OER
Time consuming to REVIEW materials for quality
Sometimes difficult to determine whether an item can be
used
Technology issues when accessing materials – both for
educators and students
4. Winding it up…
As you can tell, I thought of more pros than cons for the
use of Open Education Resources. I’m excited to be part of
an educational system that keeps students in the forefront
and provides opportunities for them to learn using different
modes and with less expense!
