Ann-Marie worked for Channel Safety Systems from October 1995 through to March 2005
when she chose to make a significant change in the direction of her career.
Ann-Marie was initially appointed in the role of Company Book Keeper; she displayed
commitment and aptitude in this position and edoyed sufficient success to earn promotions,
which resulted in her becoming Company Accountant in1997.
During the summer and aufumn of 1999 Ann-Marie was heavily involved in a successful
Management Buy - Out which in November of that year was completed, thereby securing my
position as 100% sharsholder in the business.
I believe her financial expertise and skills positively influenced the funders who invested in
Channel as well as providing our bankers, Barclays, with confidence in the managerial
hierarchy of the new business which was ostensibly Ann-Marie, one other and myself.
As an appreciation of her diligence and professionalism and in conjunction with a view to the
future growth of &e business I made Ann-Marie Financial Director shortly after the MBO.
Ann-Marie worked from this point onwards in the role of Financial Director and contributed
positively to the daily running of the business. Amongst her responsibilities were
management accounts, audit preparation, budgeting departmental management,
reconciliations and timely reporting to the bank.
I can vouch for Ann-Marie's honesty, commitment and loyalty and believe she would be an
asset to any potential future employer.
