Billing Q & A
Q: Ticket Fee Rates
A: We would like to open with the reminder that we are a not-for-profit organization. Each year OKIE811 reviews Fee Schedule to cover operational expenses.
Q: Ticket Fee Rates
A: 2015 fee schedule we moved away from the core fee which was charges for each quarter section your company had assets registered in. When we did away with core fee we moved to this sliding fee scale to help with the loss of the revenue.
Q: Difference in Rates and Classifications
A: Working towards 1 fee for all classifications
Q: Classifications
A: OKIE811 determines the best classification based on the type of facility you own or operate
Q: Outputs and transmissions question:
A: Example: say a member has 1 dispatch with a primary output only and a 2nd dispatch with multiple outputs, say 5 outputs (5 emails for 5 different people). This means the member is charged 5 times for one locate request.
Q: Why is there a difference in billing for the OTHER members?
A: Municipalities and Rural Water is in the law that we can’t bill them unless they meet certain number in population and meters.
Some classifications may change for next year
