INTRODUCTION
DIGITAL FORENSIC – is a branch of forensic science encompassing
the recovery and investigation of material found in digital devices,
often in relation to computer crime.
MOBILE FORENSIC – is a sub – branch of digital forensics
relating to recovery of digital evidences or data from a mobile
device under forensically sound conditions.
ORIGIN OF RESEARCH
In recent year android operating system being installed on huge
number of smart phones, tablets and other devices, had a break
through on the market, following the success the need to recover and
analyze data from android OS, become important part of mobile
forensic consequently many commercial and open source mobile
forensic tools become available for forensic investigators.
•The subject of this dissertation is to present open
source free tools and to illustrate how to forensically
recover data from android based device.
OBJECTIVIES
•Analysis of recovered data
•Interpretation of result
