While not all fast food is junk food, most fast food is. Junk foods commonly include salted snacks, gum, candy, desserts, fried fast food, and sugary drinks. Some foods like hamburgers, pizza, and tacos can be either healthy or junk depending on ingredients and preparation. Ethnic foods are sometimes unfairly labeled as junk even though they may be traditional, healthy foods. While some argue all foods can be part of a balanced diet, others see junk food as having no nutritional value.
