Resurrection St. Francis Hospital.
Angelica is a highly skilled nurse manager who cares about staff and patients. She holds us accountable
and collaborates with multifaceted stakeholders at St. Francis Hospital to achieve our quality and
financial goals. As an effective decision-maker, Angelica handles conflicts well and makes an intelligent
decision as a problem arises. She is always willing to help us out, especially in a rapidly changing
environment (i.e.: going live with EPIC, closing/opening the stepdown unit based on capacity, etc.).
What I appreciate the most is her ability to motivate and empower staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Angelica inspires us to be better, creates a culture of transparency, allows us to be autonomous in our
nursing practice, and provides ongoing opportunities for advancement. She broke down silos between
the two nursing units by making sure all nurses were crossed trained to take care of our patient
