The study: To find out if social networking is an interference with obligations; familial, workplace, and schoolwork. (multimedia addiction) Research Question: Does social networking interfere with familial, workplace, or schoolwork obligations? Hypothesis: As social networking usage increases, performance of obligations decreases. Directional Hypothesis: excessive social networking will result in a lowered performance of obligations among family, workplace, or schoolwork. Non-directional hypothesis: social networking will results in negatively impacting obligation performance. Null Hypothesis: there is no influence on social networking decreasing obligation performance. Independent variable: usage of social networking (Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, text messaging, email, skyping)
