For a key client, we are currently looking for a:
Medical Liaison Manager

Our client is an integrated global biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development
and commercialization of novel therapies for the treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases. It is
currently advancing three new blockbuster programs that will help drive revenue to over eight figures
by 2017. Over the last five years, it has invested over twice the industry average into R&D.
Main Responsibilities:
Identifies, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future external
thought leaders and key regional healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Responds to HCP requests for clinical / scientific information
Works with IIT Manager to co-ordinate proposals around Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs)
Provides support as required for on-going IITs
Delivery of scientific training to internal colleagues
The provision of medical insight to relevant colleagues
Works with Clinical Operations to identify potential sites for sponsored studies.
Works in a compliant manner, aligned to the ABPI / IPHA Code as appropriate
Attendance at national / international Congresses for the purposes of learning and provision of
scientific support
Qualifications and Experience:
Medical or scientific experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-starter
Strong project management and Medical Affairs skills
Advanced scientific / medical reading and writing skills.
Knowledge of NHS
Team player
Willingness to travel
