- 21. Enhancement Prioritization Process GOAL: Communicate to Oracle, which enhancements are in the highest demand and priority for inclusion in the E1 product. Access: Use the Enhancement Tool functionality to find and review details as you consider providing your voice and ranking

Engage in Enhancement Prioritization Comment: • Add a note on ANY request, not just your own and regardless of its status • Amplifies request • Provide “real world” reasons the request would benefit the greater E1 community • Be honest and objective… even if you don’t believe it’s a great idea!
- 23. Engage in Enhancement Prioritization Contact the Submitter: • Reach out to the request originator • Engage with them to get more information or to provide your input, questions, etc.

Once you select the RANK tab, the prioritization will appear at the bottom of the enhancement After selecting your priority ranking, do not forget to click PRIORITIZE button to ensure your ranking is saved. The surest way to get your request rejected is to request something that has already been asked for. Repeating existing requests dilutes your voice. Concentrating comments and rankings on fewer requests will give us the best chance of getting requests implemented.

- The Tech SIG Enhancement Committee in coordination with the SIG Board annually undergoes a review and prioritization effort of active enhancements entered via members of the Quest User Community. This is done by reviewing all of those Enhancements entered via the Enhancement Tool that all of us have access to via the Tech SIG page on the Quest site. Our review encompasses items related to the Orchestrator, Technology, Tools, Development, System Administration, Security and UDO enhancement. After our prioritization efforts are complete, those rankings are shared with all Tech SIG members, encouraging everyone to go out and rank their prioritizations via the Enhancement Tool. You can expect to be notified of that information in March of this year Our Enhancement Committee will then share results of these efforts via SIG meetings at the BluePrint Conference in May. Oracle works directly with the Tech SIG in these efforts and uses these prioritization efforts in aligning their development efforts as part of their continuous delivery of enhancements to the E1 community. We greatly appreciate Clayton and his team in working with us and helping to facilitate the delivery of these enhancements for JDE that are surfaced through people like you and me…. and as proof of that, 5 of those recently made it into the latest Release23, so your input does make a difference!
