Greetings,
I am pleased to provide a letter of recommendation for Andrea Major. She is an upcoming
graduate of the Healthcare Leadership program at Concordia College which provides rigorous
classroom learning and extensive practical experience through two three-month internships
within the healthcare industry.
Andrea’s participation, leadership and engagement as a student were strong. She held numerous
team leader roles, actively participated in classroom discussions and was engaged and
accountable to her overall learning. I appreciate Andrea’s willingness to explore opportunities,
dive into projects and without hesitation work to enhance her experience through job shadowing,
internships, cooperative learning opportunities and networking.
Andrea was diligent with her time in high school and college and is graduating in 3 ½ years from
Concordia College. This illustrates her commitment, drive, dedication and diligence in seeing
that the goals she sets for herself are fulfilled. I admire her focus on ensuring that both her
classroom learning and work experiences have prepared her for future healthcare opportunities.
Having twenty years of experience as a Healthcare Human Resource executive (before becoming a
professor), I have worked with and assessed the performance and potential of hundreds of employees.
Based on my experience, I believe Andrea will excel in an organization that embraces her strengths
including: strong oral and written communication, project management, organization and overall
accountability. She will be an asset to her future employer as she has compassion for others, sees a
purpose through making a difference and builds relationships and engages with those around her.
I wish her well in her future and welcome a phone conversation with you to provide any additional details
of her talents. I can be reached on my cell phone at 701-566-1665.
Best Regards,
