5. In Ukraine ART treatment is regulated by Order
№787 of Ministry of the Healthcare which states:

6. 1. Gamete and embryo donation, surrogacy, PGD are allowed in Ukraine;
2. For international patients, egg donors and sperm donors can be
identifiable in unique occasions;
3. At least one of the spouse should have genetic link with a child
4. Only married couple can use surrogacy;
5. To use ART treatment couple should have medical indications;
6. There are no limited attempts.

• Make a decision to start surrogacy (after being advised by different specialists)
• Get legal advice from lawyer as in your home country as in Ukraine;
• Contact clinics or agencies due to the program;
• Sign surrogacy contract;
• Start medical procedures and IVF;
• After child is born start post birth process;

8. Intended Parents rights
• Intended Parents are acknowledged as parents since conception of
ART treatment
• Surrogate mother never has parental right for the child even if she will
seek it in the future
• Child will obtain citizenship of parents
