NEXT is a mecca for collaboration
where all members will feel
comfortable and inspired. It is very
important in a co-working
environment to allow spaces for
private work, collaboration,
presentation as well as relaxation.

Live plants are a great addition to any space.
They help improve indoor air quality, reduce
stress, improve productivity and just make the
overall space more comfortable to be in. It is
also a way to keep our environment on our
minds.
Just beyond the ideation zone is the indoor
courtyard. Feel free to have a seat in one of
the cafe tables which surround the live tree.
You will be truly inspired to create or just relax
and enjoy a cup of coffee.
A bike rack has been provided as well for
whoever needs a space. There are trees
planted all throughout the space to bring the
feeling of the outdoors in all areas.

Most adults can vividly recall going to the local park as a child and getting to know the other kids in the
neighborhood. Even adults will gather with their friends and go for a jog, a walk, have a picnic lunch or sit
down and catch up with friends or family. People of every social, cultural and generational background
understand the joys of being at the local park. The park brought out our imagination, creativity and curiosity.
The sky, clouds, grass, trees and flowers also make us feel refreshed and calm.
How exactly can we bring those feelings of creativity, imagination, and relaxation of the local park in the
workspace? Incorporating live plants, natural materials, natural light and fresh air will accomplish this task.
Having open workspaces that encourage community, artwork that will inspire and spaces to collaborate,
research, create and organize are all important aspects of the project.
Many people in the corporate environment take breaks throughout the day to walk to their favorite coffee shop.
They find a need to get refreshed or inspired by a change of scenery form their bland office walls. What if that
refreshing, and inspiring environment was brought into the office? Would the workplace become more
productive? Would it bring forth a sense of community and inspire collaboration? It is believed so. Next is
the perfect opportunity to bring a whole new energy and aesthetic to the typical downtown office space. Wait
until you see what happens…..NEXT!

Every now and then, we
need to step away from our
computers and sketch pads
and just take a break. What
better way than to enjoy a
nice swing!
The back and forth motion of
a swing can be both relaxing
and exciting depending on
the person. The sensation
of flying and falling is a great
way to get the adrenaline
flowing. This is a very
beneficial activity when you
may be “stuck” and need a
quick refresh to get the
creative juices flowing again.
Adults can play too!

NEXT is also a great venue to learn.
Having a space to host learning workshops,
guest speakers or even social events is
vital. By using the Akira table, there is
great versatility since they are move easily,
and because of its stackable design, it can
be easily stored out of the way when more
space for collaboration is needed or to clear
the space for a larger event.
