1. On Tuesday, January 20th
, OFA supporters from across the country hosted over 100 State of
the Union watch parties. This is by far one of our most popular annual events that Chapter
leaders use to bring in new supporters. It has also become a great opportunity for emerging
OFA leaders to host events for the first time and begin growing their teams in new
communities. Below are some highlights from events across the country.
From San Pedro, CA Nicholas is ready to welcome attendees to his watch party
This year we added an exciting new element to our watch parties by sharing #SpotTheDenier
bingo cards. These bingo cards not only familiarized attendees with some of the new
Members of Congress who are climate deniers, but it added another fun element to watching
the speech. And as you can see, supporters really got into the fun.
