To whom it may concern
Dear Sirs
Letter of Recommendation for Mr Amry
I have known Amry for the past three and a half years. I recruited him and employed him in a
position with Putera Sampoerna Foundation during my tenure as Director of the United Schools
Program. Amry was Program Officer on a team of fifteen officers reporting directly to me. I left the
Foundation in October 2008 and took up position with Green School, but have maintained contact
with Amry and followed his developments.
I assigned him to be responsible for a school improvement project in North Aceh with three schools
that were being sponsored by Exxon Mobil as part of its CSR program. This was not an easy
assignment – socially, politically, economically and geographically – but Amry and his co-colleague
handled it extremely well, and became most respected by the stake holders. The going was slow, but
he remained positive and we saw impressive results – within context.
He is professional in his approach, listens well to people, and imbues an aura of self-confidence. He
has no hesitation in seeing advice when appropriate.
He is a team player and is well-respected by his peers. He presents extremely well.
I have no hesitation in recommending him to you.
Yours sincerely
Ronald Stones OBE
Director of the Green School Project
