2. Technology is the making usage and knowledge
of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems or
methods of organization in order to solve a problem or
perform a specific function.
Technologies significantly affect human as well as
other animal species' ability to control and adapt to
their natural environments.
It includes the tools-both machine(hard technology)
and way of thinking(soft technology)-to solve problems
and to promote development.
3. “Technology means a systematic application of
scientific or other organized knowledge to
practical task .”
-J.K Galbrath
4. To understand how technology is helpful in their
education and efficient working.
To understand the impact of technology on their
education performance.
To know the impact of technology on their health.
5. Research design use for it is Exploratory and
Descriptive.
For our research project we are using primary
source(questionnaire) as well as secondary source.
Sample size of the study is 100 respondents.
Sample technique used for the study is Non –
Probability / Convenience sampling.
Sample unit for study is Youth of Jalandhar.
6. Majority of respondents are from age group of 21yrs-25yrs &
most of them are Females followed by Males.
Most of the respondents having qualification of Post
graduation followed by under graduates & senior secondary.
Majority of respondents 97% are making use of technology
and only 3% respondents are not using technology.
Majority of respondents are making use of mobiles followed
by the use of computers/laptops/tablets.
Majority of respondents says technology have very good
impact & is followed by the result that it has good impact.
7. Majority of respondents that is 85% says online
education helpful for them.
From the above analysis we can say that majority of
respondents are suffering from eyes problems followed
with headache & overweighting.
Majority of respondents have become work shirkers.
Majority of respondents says that they have negative
impact on their health followed by addiction, habitual of
shortcuts. Other negative impact of technology is that
they are not able to use their mental ability properly and
they are getting away from the environment.
8. Indifferent Attitude
Biased information
Due to busy schedule of the respondents, there was delay
in collection of data.
Time and money constraint.
Research is limited to Jalandhar city only and cannot be
journalized to whole of INDIA.
Sometimes people do not give appropriate information
and fill the questionnaire just for the sake of fun.
9. Now a day, technology is used by everyone but it is having
certain negative impact on their health. The company’s should
introduce such technologies so that person’s health should not
be affected by it.
Technologies no doubt is important but it has made youth work
shirker. So they should us it in best and appropriate way.
The technology used in educational institutes must be made
limited so that youth should use their mental ability to the best.
Technology is making youth away from the environment. So,
different programs that encourage the association of youth
with environment should be initiated by the educational
institutions, government, non-government organizations.
10. From the study it is analyzed that it has both positive
as well as negative impact on youth.
It provides practical, accurate and update information
but at the same time it has certain effects on human
health like eye problem, headache, over weighting etc.
to eliminate all this there should be proper utilization
of technology and must be use to increase the mental
ability and not to get totally dependent on it.
